There's no way to tell how long it's been: time became too distorted to follow long before he dozed off, and (thank the gods) there were no dreams to mark his sleep. He, Gogo, and Louis are all in the same spot, piled close to each other on one side of the couch. Until a minute ago, all three of them were asleep.

Then the pounding against the inside of Gaeta's skull got too bad to ignore.

The corners of his eyes tighten as he tries to stay as still as possible. "Oh, gods. Frak."
